SpaceX makes significant progress and disintegrates over the Indian Ocean at the last moment

SpaceX lost contact with the Starship before it re-entered the atmosphere. This results in shorter launch mission times.

At 9:25 a.m. Eastern Time on Thursday, SpaceX launched the "Starship" from its own interstellar base facility and completed the third test flight of its Starship rocket. This test flight successfully sent the rocket into space. Successfully launching Starship into space is a new milestone for SpaceX, as it proves that Starship is on track to achieve its goal of carrying out long-distance space missions in the future.

Shortly after the rocket's launch, Musk congratulated his company in a post and announced that "Starship has reached orbital speed!" This means that the rocket successfully reached the speed required to stay in Earth's orbit.

The rocket traveled a greater distance this time than previous tests. The entire flight was expected to last an hour and ended with a water landing attempt in the Indian Ocean, but during the final stages of the test, it broke apart while flying over the Indian Ocean.
